The unveiling of Adam Yauch Park, in 2013A park and playground in Brooklyn Heights that was renamed after the late Beastie Boy Adam Yauch was defaced Friday, the New York Post reports. A climbing apparatus at the park was tagged with the words, “Go Trump!” in white spray-paint, in addition to two swastikas. This is just the third swastika-based vandalism in the city in less than two weeks, according to the Post. The park and playground was renamed in 2013 — partly due to a fan petition — in honor of the rapper, MC, and human-rights activist Adam “MCA” Yauch. Yauch, whose mother was Jewish, died of cancer in 2012. The city will be painting over the defacement overnight.
