When petty criminal Scott Lang is picked up by the police, a scientist named Hank Pym offers him a second chance, to follow in his footsteps and become the 'Ant-Man'.
Using technology that Pym developed in the '60s, Scott gains the ability to shrink in size but grow in strength, and communicate with insects. Together, they must plot a heist to take down Pym's former protégé, who has created a militarised version of the Ant-Man suit.
The latest superhero adventure from Marvel Studios, 'Ant-Man' introduces Paul Rudd ('Anchorman'), Evangeline Lilly ('The Hobbit' trilogy) and Michael Douglas ('Wall Street') to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
